Santa Clarita Man, 27, Drowns After Seizure
A Santa Clarita man drowned Saturday afternoon after falling into a swimming pool at the condominium complex where he lived, sheriff’s deputies said.
Kevin Morris, 27, was standing beside the pool in the 24300 block of Venturi Drive when he suffered a seizure about 12:30 p.m. and fell in, said Lt. Don Rodriguez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Morris was alone at the pool, Rodriguez said.
Paramedics and sheriff’s deputies arrived at the Lakeshore Condominiums pool and tried to revive Morris, Rodriguez said.
Morris was taken to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
