Biola Will Use Grant Funds to Seek Larger Grant
Biola University recently received a $2,500 grant from Lilly Endowment to be used for a board development proposal.
One of 18 private schools nationwide to receive the grant, Biola will use the funds “to write a larger (grant) proposal to assess the Talbot School of Theology constituency to inform board policy-making,” said Wesley Willmer, vice president for university advancement at Biola.
The Lilly Endowment is a private charitable foundation based in Indianapolis. Established in 1937 by the Eli Lilly family, the foundation maintains a longstanding interest in promoting North American theological education and nurturing religious and nonprofit leadership.
