A shotgun-wielding bandit fled with up to $20,000 after robbing a Linda Vista Road food market, police said.
A man wearing a knit mask entered Victory Foods, 6935 Linda Vista Road, shortly after 6 a.m. Sunday and fired a blast from his shotgun into a wastebasket before ordering the store’s employees into a back room, police said.
The employees said the man took $15,000 to $20,000 and fled on foot, according to police.
No injuries were reported and no more information was available.
