Fire Causes $150,000 Damage at Paint Store
A fire that broke out during the night caused $150,000 damage to a North Hollywood paint store, authorities said Saturday.
The blaze at the Sign Exchange Inc. in the 7200 block of Hinds Avenue started about 10:30 p.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jim Wells.
It took firefighters less than 30 minutes to extinguish the fire, Wells said. The cause was still under investigation.
Wells said the fire damaged a metal portion of the building where paint was stored.
No one was injured.
