Grant 19, Marshall 7--Tight end Miguel Gonzalez caught touchdown passes of 35, 5 and 33 yards to lead the host Lancers. Gonzalez finished with four receptions for 102 yards, his first catches of the season.

Gonzalez caught a 35-yard scoring pass in the second quarter to put Grant (2-0) ahead, 7-6. The 6-foot-2 senior also scored in the third and fourth quarters, the last as he reached over a defender’s head to snag the ball while sprinting down the middle of the field.

Grant quarterback Gerald Redmond completed seven of 18 passes for 163 yards, but was sacked six times for minus-52 yards. Safety Colin McHarg intercepted a Barrister pass in the fourth quarter and returned it for an apparent touchdown, but the score was nullified by a Lancer clip.
