T K’s Skipper Draws Rail in Pacing Final
Heavily favored T K’s Skipper drew the rail for the $150,000 final of the American Pacing Classic Saturday night at Los Alamitos. The 5-year-old scored impressive victories in qualifying legs the past two weeks. He won by 5 1/4 lengths last week in 1:52 2/5, breaking his week-old track record and equaling the world mark for aged pacers on a five-eighths-mile track.
The field from the rail out: T K’s Skipper, B. Crafty, Dare You To, Power and Glory, J.A. Bedford, Riviera Hanover, Tiger Pilot and Absolute Gem.
