Man Found Slain on Escondido Street
An unidentified Latino man was found dead early Monday in Escondido, police said.
The man, who had been stabbed once in the chest, was found at 3:30 a.m. Monday in the 300 block of East Mission Avenue, police said. Nearby was an unidentified bag of drugs, officers said.
The man remained unidentified late Monday, coroner’s deputies said. He appeared to be about 20 years old, 5-foot-6 and 145 pounds, officers said.
He also had three earring holes in his left ear, but no earrings, police said.
