NBC Hires 5 Ad Firms for Olympics: The network, which plans to show 600 hours of its 1992 Olympics coverage on cable TV on a pay-per-view basis, said it has picked five advertising agencies to work on the project. The companies are DDB Needham in Chicago, New York-based NW Ayer, Saatchi & Saatchi, Della Femina McNamee Inc. and Communications Diversified.
