Bush to Throw Out First Pitch
CINCINNATI —
President Bush will throw out the ceremonial first pitch before Game 2 of the World Series on Wednesday in Cincinnati.
It will be the 13th time that a President has attended a World Series, and the first since Ronald Reagan attended the opening game of the 1983 Series in Baltimore.
Dwight D. Eisenhower was the last President to throw out a first pitch at a World Series. He did it in 1956 at Brooklyn’s Ebbets Field.
