2 Live Crew Canceled Again: A Saturday performance of the group 2 Live Crew in Flint, Mich., has been canceled on the heels of recent cancellations in Detroit and Jackson, Mich. Flint’s mayor sent a letter to theater management notifying them of the charges for additional city police protection during the concert. The theater manager indicated that this $5,200 charge would be passed on to the concert promoters and promoters declined altogether. The group is still scheduled to play in Los Angeles at the Palace on Nov. 8 and at the Celebrity Theater in Anaheim on Nov. 9.
