A 19-year-old gang member was arrested in Glendale Tuesday on charges of manufacturing and possessing explosive devices, Glendale Police said.

Arash Forouzanfar was arrested about 2 p.m. in the 1300 block of Stanley Avenue in Glendale. After the arrest, Los Angeles and Glendale police sealed off the 1000 block of East Harvard Road in Burbank while Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad members safely removed two explosive devices.

Forouzanfar is being held by Glendale police.

Glendale Police Lt. Wayne Williams said the arrest and the seizure resulted from a two-month investigation by Los Angeles and Glendale police into bombing incidents that took place in Los Angeles.
