Election Set for March 5
The Redondo Beach municipal election has been set for March 5, 1991, when the city will elect two council members, a city clerk, a city treasurer and three elementary school trustees.
The date was set by the City Council Tuesday. City Clerk John Oliver said candidates may begin filing nomination papers Dec. 6.
At issue will be the North Redondo Beach council seats in District 5 and District 3, now held by Councilmen Ron Cawdrey and Stevan Colin; the school board seats now held by Sylvia Zellers, Valerie Dombrowski and board President Bart Swanson; the city treasurer job now held by Alice DeLong, and Oliver’s position as city clerk.
