PRO FOOTBALL REPORT / WEEKDAY UPDATE : Colts Are Expected to Start Dickerson
Associated Press
Eric Dickerson was activated by the Indianapolis Colts for Sunday’s game in Denver against the Broncos.
Dickerson, who has missed the first five games of the season on the club’s non-football injured list, is expected to start.
He needs only 11 yards in that game to move past O.J. Simpson into sixth place on the NFL all-time rushing list.
The Colts also signed veteran quarterback Joe Ferguson to a one-year contract.
