Palmdale 36, Burroughs Ridgecrest 14--Anthony Ortega rushed for three touchdowns and Tervell Spears ran for two scores and 157 yards as Palmdale gained 312 yards on the ground at Burroughs Ridgecrest.
The Falcons (3-4, 2-0) took a 23-0 halftime lead as Ortega scored on runs of five and 11 yards. Spears ran 70 yards for another touchdown. John Leite added a 38-yard field goal.
Ortega ran eight yards for a third-quarter touchdown, and Spears’ 21-yard run in the fourth quarter closed the scoring for Palmdale.
