FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises motorists that it has scheduled the following freeway work in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Repair locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Eastbound No. 5 lane; Lakewood Boulevard to Clark Avenue and the Lakewood Boulevard on-ramp; Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

2. Bellflower: Eastbound Clark Avenue on-ramp and Bellflower Boulevard off-ramp; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

3. Bellflower: Eastbound No. 6 lane; Woodruff Avenue to the San Gabriel River Freeway (605); Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; guardrail repair.

4. Long Beach: Eastbound No. 3, 4 and 5 lanes; Atlantic Avenue to Cherry Avenue, Atlantic Avenue on-ramp and Cherry Avenue off-ramp; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; patching.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

5. Carson: Northbound No. 4 lane; at 228th Street; Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; bridge repair.

6. Gardena: Northbound No. 5 and 6 lanes; at 182nd Street, northbound Harbor Freeway (110) connector to eastbound Artesia Freeway (91), and the 190th Street on-ramp; Saturday, 6 to 10:30 a.m.; bridge repair.

7. Wilmington: Northbound No. 3 lane; at Pacific Coast Highway; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; bridge repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

8. Bell: Northbound No. 5 lane; Slauson Avenue to Atlantic Boulevard; Monday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; guardrail repair.

9. Compton: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes; Century Boulevard to the Artesia Freeway (91); Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; guardrail repair.

10. East Los Angeles: Northbound No. 5 lane; Whittier Boulevard to the eastbound Pomona Freeway (60) and the Belvedere pedestrian overcrossing; Friday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; guardrail repair.

11. Long Beach: Northbound No. 1 lane; San Diego Freeway (405) to Willow Street; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; guardrail repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

12. Montebello: Eastbound No. 4 lane; Garfield Avenue to Markland Avenue; Wednesday, noon to 2:30 p.m; marker repair.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

15. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4 lane; Orange County line to Carson Street, Katella Avenue on-ramp, Spring Street on-ramp, Carson Street off-ramp and on-ramp; Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; marker repair.

16. Santa Fe Springs: Northbound No. 1 and 2 lanes; Firestone Boulevard to Waddell Street; Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to noon; marker repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

17. Commerce: Northbound No. 4 lane; at Washington Boulevard, and Garfield Avenue on-ramp; today, 9 to 11:30 a.m.; bridge repair.

18. Commerce: Southbound No. 3 and 4 lanes; at Washington Boulevard, and Washington Boulevard off-ramp; today, 6 to 9 a.m.; bridge repair.
