LOCAL : Pregnant Woman Slain From Car

A pregnant woman was gunned down and killed in a drive-by shooting in a mid-city Los Angeles neighborhood, authorities said today.
Shots fired from a passing car at 2015 S. Bedford St. hit the woman about 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, Sgt. Jeff Hansen said.
The victim died at the scene, he said.
Detectives from the anti-gang Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums unit are investigating the killing.
