Two men were injured in unrelated violent incidents Sunday in northeast Los Angeles, police said.
Henry Cederstrom, 23, of Highland Park was shot once in the neck with a small-caliber gun as he examined goods at a yard sale in the 5900 block of Fayette Street, Detective Ron Whitt of the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Cederstrom was taken to Glendale Adventist Medical Center where he was admitted and released Monday morning.
In the second incident, Fermin Galindo of Cudahy was stabbed in the back and leg and was in stable condition as of Wednesday at Queen of Angels-Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital.
Galindo, a custodian at the Circle West Bar in Los Feliz, was stabbed late Sunday night after he chastised two customers, police said.
One of the two men pulled out a knife and stabbed him twice in the back and the left calf.
Police said they had no suspects in either of the cases.
