ROUNDUP : Daniels’ Two Goals Help CS Northridge Outkick Master’s

Midfielder Danny Daniels scored his ninth and 10th goals of the season to lift Cal State Northridge past The Master’s, 4-0, in a nonconference men’s soccer match Saturday night at Northridge’s North Campus Stadium.

Forward Gus Cardenas rebounded his own shot for his sixth goal and Bobby Reyes scored on an assist from Cardenas to propel Northridge (8-7-3).

In another men’s soccer match:

Occidental 4, Whittier 3--Glen Olsen and Eric Strong scored in overtime to break a 2-2 tie in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at Whittier.

WOMEN’S SOCCER

Occidental 5, Whittier 3--Jos Bergmann scored four goals to finish the season with 30 as host Occidental (6-6-2, 6-2-2) prevailed in a SCIAC match.

MEN’S WATER POLO

Occidental 12, Chapman 11--Denis Noonan scored five goals for Occidental (4-14) in the Chapman College tournament.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Christ College-Irvine d. Cal Lutheran, 15-4, 15-3, 15-10--Jennifer Wiley had five kills for host Cal Lutheran (0-11) in an NAIA District 3 match.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Harvard 13, San Clemente 11--Jim Toring scored five goals to pace the host Saracens (19-6).
