Anaheim 32, Magnolia 0--Anaheim’s Robert Jones returned the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown to spark a 25-point first-half outburst in an Orange League game at Glover Stadium.
The Colonists (4-5, 2-2) completely shut down the Sentinels, limiting them to just two first downs in the first half.
Tony Olivo caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Chad Campbell, Giullian Buzilla ran five yards for a score and Julio Langarcia kicked a 34-yard field goal to make it 25-0 at halftime.
Magnolia (1-8, 0-4), which has been shut out five times, was plagued by poor field position throughout the game and got no closer than the Anaheim eight.
Jones closed the scoring with his second long run, 48 yards for a touchdown with 8:48 left in the third quarter.
