In other Division 5-A games:

Corona del Mar 3, Royal 0--Lara Carlsen, who had with 17 kills, served the final point in the Sea Kings’ 15-8, 15-9, 15-8 victory over Royal in Simi Valley. Stacy Peterson had nine kills and Tracy Schriber added eight for Corona del Mar (22-1). Royal finished its season 15-3.

In Division 3-A:

El Modena 3, Sunny Hills 1--Melizza Benitez had 34 assists and Lori Fuller had 13 kills to lead visiting El Modena (19-0) to a 16-14, 10-15, 16-14, 15-4 victory.

La Habra 3, Riverside Notre Dame 0--La Habra (17-0) extended its winning streak to 37 matches with a 15-1, 15-3, 15-10 win at La Habra.

In Division 2-A:

Capistrano Valley Christian 3, Chadwick 1--Capistrano Valley Christian won its 17th consecutive game with a 15-8, 15-9, 7-15, 15-10 victory at Chadwick.

In the Small Schools’ Division:

St. Margaret’s 3, Coast Union 1--Susie Teitsworth had 15 kills and Hilary Albers had 29 assists to lead host St. Margaret’s (17-4) to a 15-6, 13-15, 15-13, 15-7 victory.

Boron 3, Liberty Christian 2--Jennifer Caruso had 11 kills and 13 digs for Liberty Christian (18-3) in its 15-10, 13-15, 11-15, 15-1, 15-6 loss at Boron.
