Frankfurters Are Being Recalled: A Chicago food processer, David Berg & Co., is recalling 10,000 pounds of beef frankfurters and 1,400 pounds of deli beef franks because they may contain a bacteria that can cause listeriosis, a rare but potentially fatal disease. The recall applies to bulk-packed David Berg Beef Frankfurters and David Berg Deli Beef Franks that were distributed in five states, including California.
