FREEWAY REPAIRS

Caltrans advises freeway travelers that it has scheduled the following repair work and lane closures in the Southeast and Long Beach area this week. Work locations are spotted on the map by number and are identified in the list below by the nearest city or cities.

ARTESIA FREEWAY (91)

1. Bellflower: Westbound connector to the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605); today, 5:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; road maintenance.

2. Bellflower: Westbound No. 5 lane at Bixby Avenue; Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, 6:30 to 11 a.m.; bridge repair.

HARBOR FREEWAY (110)

3. San Pedro: Southbound off-ramp at Channel Street; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; attenuator repair.

LONG BEACH FREEWAY (710)

4. Long Beach: Northbound No. 3 and 4 lanes from Willow Street to Carson Street, northbound and southbound San Diego Freeway (405) connectors to the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710), and the Wardlow Road on-ramp; today, 6 a.m. to noon; marker repair.

POMONA FREEWAY (60)

5. Los Angeles County: Eastbound on-ramp at Atlantic Boulevard; Tuesday, 9 to 11 a.m.; stenciling.

SAN DIEGO FREEWAY (405)

6. Long Beach: Northbound No. 4, 5 and 6 lanes from Atlantic Avenue to Pacific Avenue, the northbound Long Beach Freeway (710) connector to the northbound San Diego Freeway (405), and on-ramps at Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach Boulevard and Pacific Avenue; today, 6:30 a.m. to noon; marker repair.

SAN GABRIEL RIVER FREEWAY (605)

7. Downey: Northbound No. 1 lane from Firestone Boulevard to Telegraph Road; Tuesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

8. Downey: Southbound No. 1 lane from Telegraph Road to Firestone Boulevard; Monday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

9. Long Beach: Northbound off-ramp at Carson Street; Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; ditch cleaning.

10. Long Beach: Southbound No. 4 lane from Carson Street to Wardlow Road and the Carson Street on-ramp; Monday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; ditch cleaning.

11. Pico Rivera: Northbound No. 1 lane from Telegraph Road to Slauson Avenue; Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

12. Pico Rivera: Northbound No. 1 lane from Slauson Avenue to Washington Boulevard; Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

13. Whittier: Northbound No. 1 lane from Washington Boulevard to Whittier Boulevard; Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; crack seal repair.

SANTA ANA FREEWAY (5)

14. Commerce: Southbound on-ramp at Washington Boulevard; Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; landscaping.

15. La Mirada: Northbound off-ramp and on-ramp at Valley View Avenue; Wednesday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; ditch cleaning.

16. Los Angeles: Northbound and southbound No. 1 lanes from Euclid Avenue to Indiana Avenue; Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 11 p.m. to 4 a.m.; repair center median.
