Santa Monica : School Board Sworn In
Newly elected members Michael Hill, Pam Brady and Brenda Gottfried and incumbent Patricia Hoffman were sworn in as board members of the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District on Monday night.
Hoffman was named president of the board and Connie Jenkins was selected vice president.
The meeting also paid tribute to outgoing members Dan Ross, Della Barrett and Robert Holbrook. Ross, who was board president, and Barrett decided not to seek reelection. Holbrook won a seat on the Santa Monica City Council.
