Pop Star Paula Abdul Hurt in Car Accident
Pop music star Paula Abdul suffered minor injuries Sunday when her black Jaguar rear-ended another car on Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City, triggering a three-car accident, police said.
The 28-year-old singer was taken by ambulance to AMI Medical Center of North Hollywood with complaints of neck and back pain after the 12:45 p.m. collision, Los Angeles Police Sgt. Christopher Vasquez said.
The Grammy Award winner singer was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Abdul was driving north on Laurel Canyon when she collided with a car driven by Charles Koko, 37, of North Hollywood.
