Reds pitcher Jose Rijo, the team’s most valuable player in the World Series sweep of the Oakland A’s, is suing for divorce. Rijo’s complaint, filed Wednesday in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court, alleges that Rosie Rijo “has been guilty of gross neglect of duty” toward her husband and that the two are incompatible. Rosie Rijo, 27, is the daughter of Hall of Fame pitcher Juan Marichal, formerly of the San Francisco Giants.
