Quake Rattles Pomona Area; No Damage
A mild earthquake rolled through the Pomona area Sunday--strong enough to rattle a few breakfast dishes, but without the wallop to cause damage or injuries, authorities said.
The magnitude 2.7 temblor hit at 10:06 a.m. and was centered about three miles north of Pomona, said a spokesman for Caltech in Pasadena.
