In the second match ever between teams on which all players had 10-goal ratings, the sport’s highest, River Plate beat Westbury in overtime, 8-7, to win the Master of the Masters at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
Memo Gracida of Mexico had five goals for Westbury, but his brother, Carlos Gracida, scored the winning goal.
