COUNTYWIDE : ’90 Christmas Seals May Raise $120,000

The American Lung Assn. expects to raise more than $120,000 this holiday season with donations from Ventura County residents who support the group’s annual Christmas Seals project.
This year’s seal, picturing two doves against a red background, is being delivered to 180,000 households this month and will help support programs for people with chronic lung diseases.
Nearly 62,000 people countywide suffer from the diseases, said Barbara Weinberg, associate director of the association.
