A Simi Valley teen-ager was killed Thursday when she was hit by a car after being thrown from a vehicle that ran off a road connecting the Ventura and Moorpark freeways, officials said.

Tracy Kordosh, 17, was riding in a car traveling north at 10:53 a.m. when it overturned and rolled down an embankment onto the southbound lanes of the road. She was hit by a car driven by Jennifer Morrison, 22, of Simi Valley. Kordosh died of head and chest injuries, a coroner’s spokesman said. Morrison was not injured.

The driver of the car carrying Kordosh was Deborah Mustain, 17, of Simi Valley. The California Highway Patrol reported that Mustain was “taking the transition road at a high rate of speed.”

Bell was treated for minor injuries at Los Robles Regional Medical Center and released. Marshall, who suffered cuts and abrasions, and Berger, who received internal injuries, are both listed in fair condition at the Thousand Oaks hospital.

Morrison, also suffering cuts and abrasions, was transported to Westlake Medical Center and is reported in good condition.
