San Dimas : Campus Project Opposed

Share

City officials are attempting to block Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College’s plan to rebuild its campus and sell some of its land to a developer for construction of 114 homes.

The city wants the plan revised and fewer homes built, Councilman Denis Bertone said. The City Council on Tuesday agreed to allocate $1,800 for an appeal to the County Board of Supervisors.

The county has authority over the project because the 150-acre campus is in an unincorporated island surrounded by the city off the 210 Freeway. The Los Angeles County Regional Commission approved the plan Jan. 3. No date was set for a hearing by the supervisors.
