Questionable Logic in Additional Development

Share

Do the City Council members of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Calabasas know how to add? Do a little arithmetic and what do you get?

1 + 1 = 2.

One developer plus 1,000 new homes and office buildings equals too much water demand.

Why should we citizens have to be rationed and get fined for an excess use of water while the councils continue to approve excessive development? Is this some kind of a joke? Continued approval of additional development defies logic.

Officials repeat the same old tune: “We need these developments for tax revenue.”

No, city employees, we need to conserve our water and our air. Just what is it that we need these tax revenues for? Are they more important than sufficient water and clean air?
