In the Century League:

Canyon 3, Villa Park 1--Trent Rusk scored two goals and Steve Frize scored for host Villa Park (10-6-3, 3-3).

Orange 2, Santa Ana Valley 1--Juan Viveros scored in the 70th minute to break a 1-1 tie for host Orange. Carlos Mijange scored 10 minutes into the game for Santa Ana Valley (2-9-2, 1-4-1). Justin Zayes scored in the 50th minute to tie the score for Orange (12-2-4, 5-0-1).

Foothill 0, El Modena 0--Jason Vlcek had four saves for host Foothill (7-4-7, 2-0-4). Fred Romo had seven saves for El Modena (8-1-3, 3-1-2).

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 3, Cypress 1--Scott Anderson, Rodrigo Cid and Carlos Cedano scored for visiting El Dorado (11-6-3, 5-1-1).

Esperanza 4, Loara 0--Andy Wray scored two goals and Sal Hernandez and Clay King had one each for host Esperanza (9-2-7, 4-0-3).

Katella 0, Los Alamitos 0--Jacky Hoppus had six saves for Los Alamitos (5-10-3, 1-3-3). Justin Welham had six saves for host Katella (12-3-4, 3-1-3).

In the Freeway League:

Buena Park 2, Sunny Hills 1--In an upset, Raul Ruiz scored the winner with four minutes left for Buena Park (5-10, 2-4). Ruiz also had the tying goal eight minutes earlier. Brent Howes scored in the second half for Sunny Hills (5-1 in league).

In the Garden Grove League:

La Quinta 2, Pacifica 0--Ken Abadie and Tuan Dang scored for host La Quinta (12-5-1, 7-1-1), which moved into first place with the victory. Pacifica is 7-5-4, 5-2-2.

In the Orange League:

Savanna 1, Brea-Olinda 0--Vince Flores scored on a header off of a corner kick with eight minutes left for Savanna (4-8-4, 1-3-2). Brea-Olinda is 7-7-3, 5-1-0.

Anaheim 2, Western 1--Jaime Garcia scored in the second half to break the tie for Anaheim (14-1-2, 4-1-1). Ceasar Barrera scored Anaheim’s first goal.

Valencia 4, Magnolia 1--Joel Camarena scored twice and Matt Labhart and Uli Perez once for visiting Valencia (7-8-3, 4-1-1). Enrique Rodrigues scored for Magnolia (2-9-2, 0-4-2). Nart Parat had 14 saves.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Trabuco Hills 1, Costa Mesa 1--Christian Haynes scored for host Trabuco Hills (7-5-5, 2-2-2), and Duby Ostina scored for Costa Mesa (8-4-2, 2-2-2).

Estancia 6, Laguna Beach 0--Juan Fernandez, Raul Diaz and Sergio Florez each scored twice for host Estancia (8-2-4, 3-0-3).

Laguna Hills 5, Century 2--Juan Strutton and Daynon Higgins scored two each and Giuseppe Lombardo scored one for first-place Laguna Hills (11-5-3, 4-0-2).

Antony Cievanos scored two goals for host Century (2-8-3, 1-4-1).

In the Sea View League:

Corona del Mar 3, Saddleback 1--The visiting Sea Kings scored all of their goals in the second half after trailing, 1-0, to upset Saddleback, the fifth-ranked team in Orange County.

Scott Owen had the first goal for Corona del Mar (3-3 in league) and Randy Gwin added the last two. George Guerrero scored his 16th goal of the season for Saddleback (11-2-4, 2-1-2) in the first half.

University 2, Tustin 1--Robert Chapman scored with 10 minutes left to break the 1-1 tie. Pat Meier scored 10 minutes into the game for University. Albert Ewings had five saves for Tustin. Fred Jarrar had five saves for University (7-7-1, 1-4).

Woodbridge 2, Newport Harbor 1--Jason Szczuka scored two goals for visiting Woodbridge (9-6-2, 3-1-2). David Kamper scored for Newport Harbor (11-4-4, 2-1-3). The teams were tied, 1-1, at the half and Szczuka broke the tie on a penalty kick with 10 minutes left.

In the Sunset League:

Marina 4, Westminster 1--Steve DeCoite, Christian McKinney, Dan Armstrong and Chris Yannelli scored for visiting Marina (11-7-1, 4-3-1). Blaine Towe scored for Westminster (1-8-1, 0-5-1).
