Share

Federal Aviation Administration authorities have conducted a security inspection of the Oxnard Airport as part of an anti-terrorism campaign prompted by the Persian Gulf War, airport officials said Tuesday.

“The FAA security has been tightened in airports around the country, and on Saturday the Oxnard Airport was subject to a routine spot inspection to make sure all the security procedures are being followed,” said Nona L. Makinson, the airport’s operations manager. Makinson would not discuss the security measures.
