Bicyclist Dies After Collision With Car

A Reseda man died early Saturday after the bicycle he was riding collided with a car, Los Angeles police said.

Robert Bruce Mann, 35, was riding south on Corbin Avenue near Hamlin Street in Reseda about 6 p.m. Friday when the car, which was traveling in the same direction, struck the bicycle, Officer Paul McMillin said.

Mann was taken to Northridge Medical Center, where he died of head injuries about 2:30 a.m., McMillin said. The car’s driver, Laurie Judith Reicheg, 32, of Tarzana, was not injured. The cause of the accident was still under investigation. Reicheg has not been cited, police said.
