Coronado
Construction workers will begin a $544,000 maintenance project Saturday on the Coronado Bridge that could cause weekend traffic delays for two months, Caltrans officials said.
The work will be conducted by day on Saturdays and Sundays through April 7. Workers will sandblast the bridge and connector ramps and apply a sealant to prevent concrete chipping.
The project could close all but one lane in each direction at times, officials said.
