Two men bound a 17-year-old girl at gunpoint then escaped with $1,350 in goods Tuesday in the second home-invasion robbery here this year, police said.

One man was armed with a gun. They walked into the home in the 9000 block of Aldgate Avenue about 1:15 p.m., police Lt. Chuck Gibbs said, and surprised the girl, who was in the back of the house.

They then bound her with bits of clothing and “basically just told her they wanted her money and weren’t going to hurt her,” Gibbs said.

The men ransacked the house and fled with about $1,350 worth of jewelry, suits and a videocassette recorder.

The victim wriggled free and called police about 20 minutes later, Gibbs said. She was not injured.

A similar robbery occurred Jan. 20 in Garden Grove. Gibbs said police have no evidence linking the robberies.
