Masks, Puppets and a Wolf

More family entertainment is scheduled for next week when the acclaimed Mermaid Theater of Canada comes to Ventura.
All the way from Nova Scotia, the group will perform Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” during a special Feb. 14 matinee at the Buena High School Auditorium.
Tickets are $3.50 for children; $5.50 for adults. Admission $1 more at the door. Tickets are available at Adventures For Kids.
Yet another award-winning children’s performer, Dan Crowe, will come to Ventura County to entertain the little people. Crowe tours nationwide and will make a stop 7 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Camarillo Community Center, 1605 E. Burnley, Camarillo. Crowe’s lively, fun songs relate to a kid’s everyday life while focusing on speech, vocabulary and language development.
Tickets are $3.50 for children, $5.50 for adults. Admission is $1 more at the door. Tickets are available at Camarillo elementary schools, at Adventures for Kids and Henson’s Music Center in Camarillo.
