2 Bodies Discovered in Acton-Area Canyon

The bodies of two people were found Thursday at the bottom of a canyon in the Acton area near a four-wheel drive vehicle, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The victims’ identities have not been determined, authorities said, but two four-wheel drive enthusiasts were reported missing Wednesday. The families of the men told authorities that they had planned to search new areas to use their off-road vehicles.
The vehicle was found in Kentucky Springs Canyon about 7:30 p.m. Difficult terrain and darkness prevented rescue workers from retrieving the bodies Thursday night.
