The former owner of a fur store has been questioned by the Allegheny County district attorney’s office about a $5,000 coat given to Bob Heddleston, former executive director of Pittsburgh’s Golden Panthers athletic booster club. Pitt officials last November asked the attorney general’s office to investigate after an internal audit disclosed Heddleston might have diverted as much as $52,700 in donations.
