Long Beach : Repair on Desmond Bridge to Require Lane Closures
The Gerald Desmond Bridge to Terminal Island in Long Beach will be under repair through March 6, requiring some lane closures.
Two eastbound lanes will be open from 3 to 7 p.m. weekdays, with only one lane open the remainder of the day. Going westbound, two lanes will remain open from 6 to 10 a.m., with only one lane open the rest of the day.
Traffic also will be restricted Saturday and Sunday. Anaheim Street is suggested as an alternate route to Terminal Island.
