In other Division 1-A games:

Corona del Mar 2, La Canada 1--Justin Pierce and Tanner Rupp scored for visiting Corona del Mar (17-6-3) at La Canada, the fourth-seeded team. Corona del Mar will play Newport Harbor on Tuesday for the fourth time this season. Each team has a victory and one game was tied.

Saddleback 2, Walnut 1 (OT)--Jose Guevara scored two minutes into the first overtime for visiting Saddleback (17-2-5), which had to play most of the second half and the overtime a man short because of a red card. Walnut ends the season 21-5.

In Division 4-A:

Santa Margarita 2, Claremont 1 (OT)--Oscar Mestra scored five minutes into overtime for visiting Santa Margarita (17-6-1). Scott Carter had the assist on the winning goal. Tim Markel scored in the first half. Matt Reis had 16 saves for Santa Margarita.

Santa Ana 3, Hawthorne 1--Ralph Serrano, Hecter Perez and Gus Plasencia scored for Santa Ana (19-6-2) in a game at Santa Ana Stadium. Serrano scored to put Santa Ana ahead, 1-0, but Hawthorne came back to tie it. Santa Ana went ahead for good on a goal by Perez with about 10 minutes left in the half. Plasencia scored midway in the second half. Armando Guillen had three saves for Santa Ana, which plays Simi Valley in the semifinal round Tuesday.

In Division 3-A:

Diamond Bar 2, Mission Viejo 1--Frank Pace scored in the first half for Mission Viejo, but John Brown scored twice in the first half as well for host Diamond Bar (21-2-2), the top-seeded team in the division. Mission Viejo ends the season 21-6-1.

Bell Gardens 1, Katella 0--Fernando Loza scored with just under three minutes left for fourth-seeded Bell Gardens (21-3-2). Katella ends the season 16-4-5.

In Division 2-A:

El Dorado 2, Coachella Valley 1 (OT)--Rodrigo Cid scored from seven yards out on an assist by Scott Schalliol seven minutes into sudden death overtime. Coachella Valley (13-9) had scored early in the second half when the ball bounced off an El Dorado defender and past Golden Hawk goalkeeper Blayne Leitner. Leitner had 17 saves.
