Motley Crue’s message to young party animals everywhere--life’s a party that shouldn’t be missed--comes across loud and clear in this collection of video clips from the band’s lively “Dr.Feelgood” album. With some pop-metal party bands--Warrant and Poison, for instance--the fun often seems fake. But you get the feeling that the Crue members are genuinely enjoying themselves, having down-and-dirty fun, while they’re cranking out that raging rock ‘n’ roll. Some of the Crue’s clips are cleverly surrealistic and teasingly naughty. The highlight is the rousing in-concert clip of “Same Ol’ Situation,” one of the best pop-metal party tunes of recent years.
