NOT-SO-WILD BUNCH: Motorcyclists may hate helmet laws (B2), but the Irvine-based Motorcycle Industry Council swears the typical rider is not a Hells Angel but “the guy next door.” A new council survey of bikers says 25% are white-collar and 29% blue-collar. The rest: mostly service workers and students. . . . The council represents motorcycle makers and distributors. Nearly a third of the riders are fishermen, a quarter are hunters.
