NCAA Needs Leadership Away From Las Vegas
It seems that the NCAA has an obsession with Jerry Tarkanian. The relentless pursuit of the man is mind-boggling. After all the time and energy spent, the NCAA has come up with the lastest infractions--an unpaid telephone bill by a potential recruit.
I hope under the leadership of Dick Schultz, the NCAA improves itself and applies its investigative measures fairly across the board, focuses on major issues such as cocaine abuse among athletes and removes prejudiced people from its ranks. If the NCAA acts fair and justly, it shouldn’t be afraid of due process.
