OXNARD : Man, 21, Shot Twice in Quarrel at Park
A 21-year-old man was shot twice late Monday night when he got into a fight with a man at a south Oxnard park, police said.
Anthony D. Dawson of Oxnard was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in good condition Tuesday.
Oxnard Police Sgt. Denny Phillips said Dawson apparently got into an argument with a man at College Estates Park shortly before midnight.
As Dawson was running away, the man shot him in the arm and leg. A third bullet grazed Dawson’s stomach, Phillips said.
