Nestle Unveils Lower-Caffeine Coffee: San Francisco-based Nestle Beverage Co. said the coffee is aimed at those who want regular coffee taste but less caffeine than in other brands. Hills Bros. Perfect Balance Coffee, which will be marketed in ground and instant forms, delivers regular coffee taste with half the caffeine of other coffees, the company said. It said overall coffee sales have declined slightly for several reasons, including the growing popularity of alternative beverages and a trend among some consumers toward limiting caffeine consumption.
