The deadline for submitting an application to participate in the U.S. Olympic Festival’s torch run has been extended seven days to April 22. The 1,700-mile torch run will begin June 16 in Sacramento and end 26 days later as part of the opening ceremony at Dodger Stadium for the July 12-21 Festival in Los Angeles. Applications are available at California post offices.
