San Pedro Hospital to Offer Free Tours
San Pedro Peninsula Hospital will offer a behind-the-scenes look at outpatient care, surgical services and cardiovascular diagnostic operations in free tours from noon to 5 p.m. April 28. The hospital is at 1300 W. 7th St. Tours, which last one hour, will take people into areas--including operating suites and diagnostic testing rooms--not normally open to the public.
Participants will be given sterile garments to wear over their clothes when touring surgical areas. Physicians and clinical staff will discuss and demonstrate uses of equipment. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling 514-5366.
