At 1:58 a.m., John Whitefell of Oxnard was stabbed in the chest and arm after arguing with another man at the Fantasia Nite Club in the 1700 block of Oxnard Boulevard, Young said. The 25-year-old man was seated in his vehicle when the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed him, Young said. The suspect then fled.

Whitefell was taken to St. John’s Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Young said.

No arrests have been made in either case, Young said.
