Call her Ms. Versatile. Not only does Knott, a first-team, all-Freeway League selection in soccer, run the hurdles and relays for the Sonora track and field team, but she also does some occasional pinch-hitting and pinch-running for the softball team. “I think that speaks to her competitiveness,” Sonora track and field Coach Bryan Humphrey said. “She wants to excel in everything she does.” Knott’s excellent performance at the Freeway League finals Thursday helped the Raiders easily win a third consecutive league championship. She broke her own league record with a time of 14.6 seconds in the 100 low hurdles and won the 300 lows in 45.9. Knott also ran on Sonora’s winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams.

Other top performers:

Andrea Dean, who won the 100 (12.5), the 200 (26.1) and anchored Mission Viejo’s 1,600 relay team to victory as the Diablos won the South Coast League title.

Megan Logan, who was named the Century League swimmer of the year after winning the 200 individual medley (2:11.97) and the 100 butterfly (1:00.34) and helping Foothill to the league title.
